Eleven years strong, a symphony of grace,

Leading with confidence, each in her own space. Here, together to collectively gather pace.

Branding themselves with intent & might, Moslems, Christian’s, women of all religions & class, strategically crafting a future so bright.

In the tapestry of purpose, they weave,

A network of strength, in which they believe that together, they will achieve.

Amidst the crowd, a diverse sea,

Women of Tanzania with their sisters across our borders, Zimbabwean, Zambian, Nigerian, Ugandan, Kenyan, not forgetting Rwandan, Congolese all mighty women in their own right, are represented here, all proud and free. Here to see one another thrive. Moral boosting sisterhood to survive. Collectively feeling ALIVE.

Young and old they smiled and shared, from the private and public sector domains,

Entrepreneurs’ they all are and will be pushing their dreams, breaking through the chains of sexism, climbing over walls of exclusion based systems, to claim their rightful place and present their case.

Resilience echoes in their every stride,

Mothers, professionals, battered and bullied by men and women alike, survivors these women are pioneering and beginning to swim together in life’s vast tide.

Our sisters and daughters are here holding space, building areas for others & together, they forge a united front.

These women are uplifting others, their goal to confront.

Confront stigma.

Confront cheavenism.

Confront obstacles and punch dogma. On their side, lays good Karma, good fortune for each & every one of you mamas.

In this mosaic of influence, these women stand tall, no longer playing small.

Great examples of potential, here to make landfall & to enthrall society.

Commanding their place with wisdom and might,

Guiding others to find their own light, 24/7, every day and every night. These women are truly inspiring to learn from, exciting to listen to.

As the years unfold, a prophecy of hope,

Into the next 11 years, a kaleidoscope.

Attendees and speakers, a cyclical dance,

Let’s meet again in the near future,

Back we go to witness the young ones’ advance.

The legacy unfolds in stories untold,

Echoing truths of the brave and the bold. For the daughters to come, a beacon to be, “Women of Excellence,” the symphony of the free to be whatever their minds eye chooses to see.
